Our state-of-the-art surgical suite provides for the performance
of a wide variety of surgical procedures including:
- Orthopedics such as fracture repairs and amputations
- Anterior Cruciate surgery techniques that only a handful of veterinarians in Boise or Meridian have skill or experience with. Dr. McKown has performed over 1,100 dog ACL surgeries in his career with excellent success rates.
- Soft Tissue surgery including trauma surgery, intestinal blockages, spleen removals, skin tumors, eyelid surgeries to correct malformation or defects
- Electrocautery to minimize bleeding during surgeries
- Endoscopy to retrieve foreign objects from nostrils and oral cavities
- Hip surgery abilities to perform femoral head excisions
